For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

THE SAP BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST/SOLUTION ARCHITECT

Project background:

The Clinical Supply solution leverages Sales and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), Global Label Management (GLM), Warehouse Management (WM), Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI) modules along with custom solutions, and integrations to various manufacturing and other systems.

The project is already in place and one SAP Functional Expert located in San Francisco is already working on it. Since there are also customers based in Switzerland (mainly Kaiseraugst), the team is looking for an additional resource to support onsite. The person will be working closely with the customers, the support team in Poland and the Validation lead.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze, Design and build reliable, scalable and maintainable GxP solutions; configure, test, deploy new, and maintain and enhance existing system functionalities SAP QM, SAP LE and PP-PI.
- Create system documentation, including functional and technical specifications, test plans and scripts, installation scripts, OQs/PQs, training materials
- Ensure system compliance and audit readiness by following SDLC and computer system validation methodology
- Lead solution delivery by working with cross-functional IT teams following change and release management processes; implement solutions that optimize systems' performance; Provide 2nd/3rd level support
- Provide content knowledge on Incident, Problem, and Change management processes to appropriate IT teams
- Support business organization in creation of SOPs, work instructions, training, etc. as needed, and support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance user experience and ensure efficiencies with solutions' delivery

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7+ years of SAP functional experience in Quality Management (QM), Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI) modules and Logistics Execution (LE)
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other validated environment (GxP)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and acting as a self-starter, results-oriented with a track record of timely delivery of high-quality solutions
- Ability to work with a high profile cross functional team (In order to support both, the regional and global user community, this role requires some flexibility in work hours)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong presentation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

NICE TO HAVES:

- 3+ years of experience with Material Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Logistics Execution (LE) and Sales and Distribution (SD) is highly beneficial; Global Label Management (GLM) is desirable
- Knowledge of supply chain and clinical business processes is a big plus
- ABAP development experience is advantageous
- HP ALM

Start date: August 2016

DURATION: TILL 28.01.2017 (WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION)

Work location: Basel region (2 days/week remote possible)
