JOB TITLE - TESTING MANAGER/TESTING SENIOR MANAGER/Testing Lead
LOCATION - BARCELONA
LANGUAGE - ENGLISH and Basic Spanish ( good to have)
Rate - 250 Euro per day
Duration - 6 months +

JOINING BONUS - 500 EURO

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Test Manager will be responsible for planning, deploying and managing the test effort to the Customer to secure that the quality of the developed and deployed solution meets the demands stated as requirements and acceptance criteria.
The Test Manager is in charge of all tests activities and acts as a representative of Testing for dealings with the Customer. The Test Manager arranges support needed for testing phases.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Understand the customer requirements and acceptance criteria and oversees the solution build and customer operability and management through a thorough E2E Testing strategy.
Establishes smooth communication channels with customer and project team.
Ensure complete customer focus and co-operates with Customer and project team as required to agree the testing strategy to be employed for delivery of the Customer Solution.
Takes responsibility for the production and approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during the project.
Interfaces and negotiates with customer with regard to project estimates, schedules and deliverables including managing requirements, reviews, obtaining acceptance plans and feedbacks.
Plans, arranges and controls meetings, workshops and relations with Customer and project team during test planning and throughout subsequent development and testing activities.
Communicate project status to Customer, project management and all stakeholders on daily/weekly basis.
Defines the resources required to design deliver and execute the test solution and assembles the virtual test team composed of Customer, Customer resources and 3rd party
Coordinates all activities and all testers during each testing phase of a project or program.
Maintains awareness of testing alternatives at a level where they can be analysed and the most effective testing strategy selected and agreed.
Utilizes testing knowledge and experience to assess and advise on the practicality of testing process alternatives.
Ensures that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the test plan are clearly documented and described to the client and project team. Takes preventive actions.
Provides authoritative advice and guidance to Customer and project team on any aspect of testing, including training for testers and other resources where appropriate.
Fulfils the role of Testing Analyst when required.
Support Test Platform" maintenance in every aspect (process, organisation, staffing, environments, tools and reporting).

Fluent in English and Spanish

Experience:
Foundations in different ICT areas (e.g. Managed Hosting, UCC, Cloud computing, Network Connectivity, etc).
Experience in risk analysis and test planning
Experience of being a contact point for customer in test area
Experience in working in international teams
Experience in managing large virtual test teams involving Customer, 3rd parties for OAT, UAT.
Experience of Embedded software testing
Expertise in advising performance, stress, regression specifications and performance environment requirements.
Experience on LoadRunner, ability to understand performance test reports.
Expertise in Designing Performance, stress, regression Testing Frameworks
Strong project management skills and experience in delivering system product releases
Test experience in Distributed computing, Cloud architectures, VMs
Strong knowledge in the following areas: Switching/Routing, Monitoring, DHCP, DNS, Fibre Channel, Storage, NAS, Replication Back Up, Virtualization (VMware Hyper-V Servers), Citrix
Security (FW), Load balancing
Database Middleware
Strong knowledge in Enterprise Data Center Topology.
String knowledge in Java, any Scripting along with user interface automation.
Experience in Automating system level use cases using VMware Technologies.
Knowledge on Penetration testing Management

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related field
ISTQB Foundation & Intermediate
ITIL Foundation Course qualified
PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar Programme or Project management training level attained.
