Tester - SOA, Automated Testing, Agile (€300-€340 PD) - Vienna, Austria

Leading energy and utilities giant based in central Austria have multiple opportunities for experienced System's Tester to join their team. The roles will work on large scale software programs and be heavily involved in establishing a test environment and performing unit, system and integration testing of the applications developed.

Tester Contracts will initially be for 6 months with the overall project due to last up to 2 years. The role will be based in Vienna (Austria) for the full term therefore it is essential that you have the relevant work permits or residency to work here.

To be considered for the role of Tester/Test Engineer you will have the following skills/experience:

-Minimum five years of practical relevant working experience of which at least two years should be in software quality control and testing
-Good knowledge of software development methodologies (CMMI, CoBit, ITIL, ISO9001:2000), software quality control and testing
-Good knowledge of testing practices in a Service Oriented Architecture
-Good knowledge of software test design techniques and familiarity with automated testing tools
-Familiarity with libraries, databases, programming, desktop publishing on the Microsoft environment and Software Configuration Management (TFS, VSS) tools
-Experience with Agile testing, a software testing practice that follows the principles of Agile software development
