Tester - 6 Month Contract - Government Department

A wonderful opportunity for a Siebel based Tester to join a large Government Department for a 6 month contract starting in January.

- ACT LOCATION
- 6 MONTH CONTRACT
- AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS

PROVISION OF TESTER SERVICES INCLUDING:

- Ability to review source documentation, assess completeness, accuracy and report their finding through the appropriate channels
- Ability to execute test cases, identify and record defects found during testing
- Ability to understand a variety of test strategies and to constructively challenge issues and discuss alternatives to find a way forward
- Good written and oral communication skills

SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Proven experience in large-scale system development projects with demonstrated skills in systems testing.
- High level interpersonal skills, including the ability to:

1. Accurately test and conceptualise requirements; and
2. Effectively liaise and negotiate with technical and non-technical staff, internal and external business representatives at all levels - Ability to meet deadlines, working with limited supervision in a team environment.

DESIRABLE

- Knowledge of grants administration and/or child care program management.
