Test and verification engineer (Some home working available!)

DURATION: 6 months

I am looking for a test verification engineer to work for a Defence company based in Reading. Contractors on site have reported of a flexible and pleasant working environment where contractors can work their weeks hours in 4 days to help with travel along with sometimes working from home.

Your role will be to create C++ test cases for firmware developed by a third party company. Subsequently you will be required to present the test reports to key people within the business.

Candidates will be required to write C for CAN, in particular to MilCAN and have a good understanding of RS422 & RS232.

Any exposure to electronics test equipment would be very beneficial

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Writing bespoke test cases in C/C++
- Presentation of reports/test cases to senior business members
- C for CAN
- RS422 & RS232 or similar
- Working to Defence standards

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- MilCAN A and/or B
- Verification using electronic test equipment

RATE:

£35 - £40 per hour onsite

£25 - £30 per hour offsite
