Test Technician Job

TEST TECHNICIAN NEEDed for CONTRACT opportunities on second (Monday - Friday 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm), third (Monday - Thursday -4 ten hour nights) and fourth (Friday, Saturday, Sunday -3 twelve hour days - 36 hours) shift, to join Yoh's client in Gloucester, MA. All shifts will include a 10% shift differential.

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

- This company is a leading manufacturer of ion implantation systems, powering the Internet, the PC, telecommunications and the information age. They are dedicated to meeting the exacting demands of IC production and satisfying the ion implantation needs of IC manufacturers worldwide.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
- Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
- Perform connection start-up, test and troubleshoot integrated modular systems.
- Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
- Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- AA/AS in Electronic Technology or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Certificate in Electronics, or equivalent and two to three (2-3) years applicable experience.
- Microprocessor systems, digital & analog electronics, and mechanical aptitude required.
- Experience with Microsoft applications, Outlook and SAP is preferred.
- Experience in the testing of robotic systems.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- High Vacuum experience is a plus
