Projektbeschreibung

OBJECTIVE:

My client is a Brussels based international bank. They have a large and extensive Mainframe platform running many business applications, including in the Asset Servicing/Tax, New Issues, Income, Corporate Actions area. They are seeking a Test Team Leader to manage the test cases based on business, functional, non functional and technical requirements.

TASKS:

- Prepare, maintain and be the guardian for the high level testing and launch strategy;
- Prepare test following the Project Life Cycle methodology of the group using V-model;
- Prepare test planning and test strategy;
- Define roles and responsibilities in the project for testing and launching aspects;
- Prepare the budget for testing and provide it to the Project Leader;
- Manage resources on a day to day basis;
- Make sure testing methodology is followed in a pragmatic manner;
- Take care of defect management;
- Review the Test requirements and test cases;
- Follow the test progress based on the test planning;
- Report the testing status to Project Leader and to other stakeholders in the projects;
- Write up test summary reports and discuss the results with other teams;
- Resolve project issues in cooperation with the Project Leader;
- Identify and implement actions to improve the testing process;
- Ensure the global consistency of the Launch scenario;
- Be responsible for the final quality of the project.

The candidate will also have the skills to review deliverables and steer Test Analysts. A test analyst designs test cases based on business, functional, non functional and technical requirements.

The main tasks are. Optimizes the test approach after that detailed requirements are finalized;
* Interviews users, business and IT analysts and interprets requirements;
* Design tests based on requirements and information gained;
* Analyses test execution results and investigates defects;
* Ensures proper status reporting on test execution.

SKILLS:
* Minimum 3 years experience of test management in handling cross functional multi platform projects;
* Ideally 2-3 years experience in software development area;
* Overall MVS/zOS Mainframe knowledge (DB2, CA7, MQ, JCL, ISPF/SDSF, PLI or Cobol, FileAID, changeMan, Cortex, SQL language);
* Experience in Mercury Quality Centre (defect management and test definition) or equivalent;
* Testing ISEB or ISTQB foundation or equivalent experience;
* Ability to handle multiple projects;
* Experience in handling small and big test teams (virtual and direct ones);

Previous experience in any one of the following: investment banking, funds management, asset management, custody/Back Office operation, securities clearing, settlement, stock exchange or an ICSD (International Centralised Securities Depositary or similar, eg. Crest, Euroclear, Clearstream, LCH Clearnet, etc) is essential. Financial/Banking/Asset Servicing/Tax, New Issues, Income, Corporate Actions background;
