The Company:

A leading aerospace client, dealing in the design, development and manufacture of electronic control systems for aero gas turbine engines.

The Role:

Our client is looking to recruit a number of Test Systems Design Engineers to join their busy electronics test team. As a Test Systems Design Engineer you will write Labview programs for operations and endurance tests as part of an ATE system.

You will be responsible for programming National Instruments Equipment using diadem, Labview, and test stand to control testing requirements and data logging and then analyse data. You will be able to write software programs to collect data and control the operation of devices under test, ensuring that systems are in control at all times during the test.

The Test Systems design engineer will be involved in all aspects of the test development, from software or hardware design to test process validation and training test operators, at all stages of the electronics products life cycle.

The Candidate:
As an experienced Test Systems Design Engineer, you will be able to analyse software and hardware problems relating to electronics test equipment and production units. From a strong electronics background, you should have experience of working at all level of board test development. In addition to this you should also have experience of designing and developing software and hardware to test electronics for aerospace projects.
