Test & Support Engineer

Test & Support Engineer required by Leading Global Bank

Job Description:

The assignment involves carrying out full tests using Quality Center based on a set of changes packaged as a several small projects for the client's Marketing. You will be responsible for:
*Ensuring the execution of integration and non-regression tests (using Quality Center) for deliverables meeting pre-defined target dates, cost and quality criteria.
*Analyzing any defects that are detected, proposing corrective action, then either applying the solution or in some cases handing this over to the appropriate team.
*Assisting the MOA with functional inputs and participate in the analysis and resolution of defects.
*Ensuring that progress with requests is communicated to project managers at pre-defined intervals.
*Contributing to the update of application related documentation.
*Contributing to the definition of maintenance procedures.
*Ensuring the improvement of your own technical and functional skills and knowledge in your domain of activity.
*Contributing to communications related to your activities (eg Morning checks, major incidents, )
*Putting into action, if required, analysis, development and unitary tests for requests.

*Must have an affinity with Agile methods and web technology.
*Knowledge of AB Initio and data flow functionality in general is a plus.
*Rigorous approach and ability to understand complex, related elements.
*High standard of written and spoken communication.
*Knowledge Web Content Management development methods, notably Interwoven and AB Inition is a plus.
*Significant experience of application maintenance activities.
