Test Specialist

Our client is searching for a Test Specialist with knowledge and experience of working in a complex banking environment.

Technical knowledge/experience:
- Good experience with Linux/Unix (1-2 years) including system commands, & Scripting.
- Good experience with Oracle and SQL queries (1-2 years).
- Experience with tools such as TOAD, HP ALM, and Microsoft Sharepoint is a pre.
- Experience across various levels of testing, acceptance, production acceptance, functional, and regression, and E2E and chain tests across large scale environments.

General knowledge/experience:
- HBO or higher level of education, preferably in an ICT related discipline/subject.
- 3-5 years practical test experience, preferably working in a large scale homogenous environment.
- TMAP or ISTQB foundation certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification is a pre.

Competences:
- Ability to work both alone and within a close team.
- Ability to mentor and guide less senior team members.
- Flexible, stress-resistant, creative, with good analytical and decision making skills.
- Should be customer focussed and Quality driven.
- Should be assertive and show some leadership skills.
- Should be willing to learn, studious, and forward thinking.
- Good communication skills, including spoken and written Dutch and English languages.
- Experience within the business or financial institutions is a pre.

Duration: Long Term Assignment.

Description:
Together with a small team of motivated colleagues, the tester will be responsible for the professional execution of acceptance testing for projects, maintenance releases, and additional requests from the business partners. Furthermore, the tester will be expected to support System Tests and FAT tests when necessary. All the test activities are based around testing for other departments and teams within the organisation.

Current fase in projectcycle:
Acceptance Testing (UAT/FAT/PAT)

Tasks:
Test Preparation including managing test environments and test data
Test Execution - including UAT/FAT/PAT tests on behalf of the Business and GPC Support
Test Reporting - delivering results and analysis to all stakeholders
