Test Manager (Wealth Management, WRAP Solutions) Banking

THE COMPANY

Our client is one of Australia's leading and largest Financial Services Organizations that has expanded its operations beyond the Australian shores. The organization has a large range of financial offerings to both public and private clients across the retail, corporate and institutional banking areas. They have a very large technical footprint that combines a dynamic range of technologies in an ultimately complex landscape. Due to continued growth they are looking for a Test Manager with experience running testing initiatives across Wealth Management, specifically WRAP platforms.

THE TEAM

You'll be responsible for running multiple teams with several Test Leads reporting directly to you and by extension Test Analysts both local and off-shore while liaising with Project Managers for budgetary purposes and development teams to ensure robust Wealth/WRAP solutions are delivered.

THE ROLE

Your primary role will be to coordinate the efforts of multiple local and off-shore teams of test professionals at various levels to ensure resiliency of Wealth Management, specifically WRAP platforms and guide development and release management within this large and complex financial organization. To be considered for the role you'll have at least 5 years' experience as a Test Manager, managing staff and projects, within the financial services industry and have specific and detailed knowledge of WRAP products/platforms. In addition you'll be an expert in all phases of testing including: Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, and Release Management and have demonstrated experience with test automation tools such as HP's suite of products (eg ALM, UFT etc).

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

- 5+ years' experience as a Test Manager within financial services (ESSENTIAL).
- Expertise in testing Wealth Management/WRAP platforms (ESSENTIAL).
- Expert in all phases of testing: Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, and Release Management.
- Experience with test automation tools such as HP's suite of products (eg ALM, UFT etc).
- Experience managing multiple local and off-shore testing teams.
- Must have full, unrestricted Australian working rights (Aus Cit/PR).
- A University Degree in Technology, Finance or industry relevant certifications (ISTQB).
