Je functie: Context of the mission
Our department IS Employee Benefits and Health Care, is continuously working on its applications to enhance them. Together with the usual recurrent effort
(maintenance), there are a lot of projects to realize in the coming years.
We are actively searching a senior Test Manager who will work in a small 'IT testing team' in order support projects manager to set up and follow up the test strategies of their
projects.
The main activities of the 'testing team' are:
- Test strategies set up,
- Test effort evaluation,
- Test planning set up and follow-up,
- Test roadmap follow-up (cross-projects),
- Coaching people in development teams in order to improve the quality of their tests,
- Non regression testing before each delivery (partly automated),
- Improving the process and the tools used.
The Test Manager will coach our internal testing staff in order to reach a higher level of maturity.
To function effectively, the Test Manager is required to conceptualize and think abstractly, work in a technically complex and heterogeneous environment, and effectively
communicate with all stakeholders of the projects.
Objective of the job
o To evaluate the testing effort and the planning of a project
o To put in place tests strategies
o To organise Monitoring & Reporting in collaboration with IT projects managers and the business
o To manage the other type of test such as :
o Regression tests
o Performance tests
o Security tests
Mission period
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
(Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)

Je profiel: Required Knowledge and Experience
Level of education required
University Graduate or Professional bachelor with EDP Study Program
Ideally University graduate "Master" in Information Science, Management or Industrial Engineer.
Language requirement
*Dutch and French, one fluent the second one good at least.
