Test Manager (TA) Daily Rate

TEST MANAGER - 9 MONTHS+
Principal Responsibilities
- Define and document the overall test strategy for the project.
- Review of the requirements and impact of introducing the new changes to departmental areas and assess downstream impact to other existing applications.
- Review existing and future processes to gather test requirements.
- Interacting with SME's from within TA other also departments outside of TA to capture the full end to end testing requirements and systems and processes that will require regression testing.
- Working with the project test resources in the creation of test scripts, adhering to SDLC policy.
- During the execution of the test cycles, co-ordinate and track efforts through hosting status meetings.
- Ensures all defects raised are being logged with ownership for resolution assigned.
- Understands business requirements and is able to translate these into the required test plan and test scripts.
- Reviewing test scripts created by other project team members to ensure they are of good quality and that they have the appropriate level of detail.
- Escalate issues in a timely manner to the overall Project Manager.
- Coordinates testing of the new systems and system modifications with the BPA, Operation and Technology teams.
Skills/Experience
- Strong level of knowledge of Transfer Agency with regards to payments and reconciliations would be advantageous.
- Experience in a lead testing role and working in a project environment.
- Experience with co-ordinating testing tasks across medium & large scale projects.
- Attention to detail with regards documentation of test plans and approach.
- Knowledge of Fund Administration system capabilities, obtained through formal training or experience in working in Fund Administration.
- Advanced analytical skills at Business or Project level.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Can work methodically and on own initiative.
