Test Script Writer & Test Manager

Role Description
This person will be a member of a project team that is responsible for the overall successful implementation of the Workday project in Sweden. He/she will have specific responsibilities in test script writing, coordination and support of all test related activities, in compliance with global and regional guidelines.

As a Test Writer he/she will:
Collect/create all IT test scripts for the entire project together with the IT team, based on the Functional, Integration and DataConversion Specifications
Collect/create all UAT and End-2-End test scripts for the entire project together with the Business team, based on the User Requirements
Set up of testing tools (example: Quality Center) and ensure timely capturing of test scripts and test results in this tool
Develop and maintain the traceability Matrix

As a Test Manager he/she provides guidance and leadership in all test related areas of the project:
Coordinate all testing activities including management of the testing life cycle from planning through execution (plan tests, create test schedules and coordinate their execution across local and remote teams).
Lead the testing preparation activities including collection and/or creation of test data for the different test cycles and monitor the availability of accurate test data in the various test environments
Develop parallel payroll runbooks and support execution and verification of the parallel payroll testing cycles.
Document the test process according to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards
Liaise with various groups to coordinate error fixing activities (project manager and project core team, payroll provider, IT team, end users, etc. )
Develop, manage and support testing team
Prepare status test reports for management.

Profile:
Masters degree at university or equivalent through experience
Language is Swedish, excellent communication skills in English is preferred (written and spoken),
Experience in test script writing, test management and defect management tools such as HP Quality Center
Experience in payroll/HR rollout projects preferred
Good analytical problem solving skills, Hands-on
Respect for deadlines
Significant experience in testing (5-10 years), preferably in international environments
Self driven personality and able to work with high degree of autonomy
Have proven leadership capabilities
Results-oriented and a real team player, positive attitude and goal-oriented.
Location: Helsingborg or nearby
