TEST MANAGER (REGULATORY/BANKING)

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a SENIOR TEST MANAGER WITH BANKING EXPERIENCE.

ROLE:

- Establishing end-to-end testing standards and procedures for the project
- Defining an overall testing strategy and driving its execution across the development teams within the IT organization of the bank
- Agree and negotiate testing windows with various teams in accordance with the development methodologies of the individual application development teams
- Ensuring appropriate documentation and work products (Test strategy, requirement reviews, test case/scenarios, defects and end-to-end traceability of all work products)
- Ensuring overall software quality is monitored and maintained
- Meaningful test reporting, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed about the current status, issues & blockers
- Maximize test resource utilization to allow the organization to easily scale up/down

SKILLS:

- Over 10 years of testing/test management experience
- Good knowledge of API and interface testing
- Must have experience working with Waterfall/Iterative/Agile (Scrum) development teams
- Strong experience in using HP ALM (Quality Center) or equivalent tools
- Strong experience in a managing a test team
- Must to be willing to perform hands on testing tasks as required
- Strong experience of testing core systems and Legacy business critical applications
- Banking industry experience, ideally in the regulatory space
- Knowledge in MS SQL or Oracle would be a plus
- Knowledge of SOAPUI would be a plus
- German would be a plus
