Test Manager - London/Helsinki - 12 Month Contract

DBFS are currently recruiting for a test manager to work with a large financial organisation split in between Helsinki and London.
This role is to work alongside the product acceptance manager to track and monitor test activities across different test phases and different releases (Release 2 and Release 3) and manage the Automated Testing team in their activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently manage the Automated Testing team in their activities, prioritizing the team members' tasks and ensuring that the testing objectives will be met
- To manage the development and maintenance of automated testing processes as part of UAT as required and liaise with third-party suppliers to ensure consistency of approach for automated testing.
- To monitor that all test scenarios and scripts are prepared in a structured way and are compliance with the project standards.
- To manage the production and maintenance of test documentation, including test scripts, activity schedules, automated and written reports and progress charts.
- To collect and analyse data from the various testing tools and across different test phases and produce management reports when required.
- To assist with the impact analysis of UAT/MAT defects
- To assist the Product Acceptance Manager and the client Account Managers in client facing activities related to testing
KEY EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in testing, 3 of those in management/coordination position. Knowledge and understanding of the securities processing ISO message standards (ISO15022 and ISO20022) and post-trade business are an advantage. Experience in message oriented Middleware such as IBM MessageBroker is considered useful
- Able to solve problems in a measured and creative way. Capable of independently assessing a wide variety of tasks, and be proactive in identifying and undertaking activities that are to the benefit of the business
- Test management tool skills are required, eg HP ALM. In addition the basic Office tools must be managed
