Test Manager London Asset Management £70-80k

I am currently looking for a Test Manager to work at my very prestigious client who are a leading asset management company based in Central London.

Salary: £70-80k plus excellent benefits

This is a hands off position and you will need extensive proven management experience. You will be responsible for the line management of testing resources and ownership of test processes. You will also be responsible for the management oversight of the IT Test Environments booking, building and maintenance programme to support project testing and change initiative testing.

Experienced required:

*A full understanding of the project life cycle.
*A full understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how the testing life cycle fits into the SDLC.
*Expert in using Microsoft Office tools including Visio and MS Project.
*Experienced in forward planning. Previous project management experience would be of benefit.
*Experienced in testing software within Asset Management and/or investment banking, including knowledge of the Charles River application suite.
*Other application experience which would be beneficial would include Tradeflow, Biztalk, Riskmetrics, Quasar, Coric, Vermillion and generic decision support tools.

Skills required:

*Quality Centre Knowledge to Administrator Level.
*SQL Query knowledge and scripting ability.
*Excel.
*VBA Scripts.
*MQ experience an advantage.
*Strong communication skills.
*Ability to offer solutions options rather than a tendency to focus on a problem.
*Relationship builder, working in partnership with other members of IT to ensure collective success.
*Able to generate enthusiasm at both an individual level and at the wider team level.
*Approachable & able to work with people at all levels in the organisation.
*Inquisitive, pro-active, with good logical, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
