Test Manager - IT

I am currently working with an international Financial Services organisation who seek an experienced IT Test Manager to enter a long term contract/freelance assignment in Amsterdam. Initial contract length is until the end of 2019.

As an experienced IT Test Manager you'll manage an internal team across various locations ultimately being responsible for the overall test strategy definition through to implementation and continual improvement. You'll be highly involved with key business stakeholders at a strategic level as the business prioritises it's IT Services compliance to the new IFRS 17 reporting standard.

The successful IT Test Manager will be responsible for:

- Analyse, plan and produce the overall test strategy and test automation approach
- Prepare and produce chain test plan/strategy including automation, data and cloud test environments
- Manage an internationally located test team and third parties in the execution of designed test plans/strategies
- Ongoing reporting, communication and continual improvement of the overall test process

As an experienced IT Test Manager you'll boast:

- Previous experience operating as a strategic level Test Manager, ideally within a Financial Services environment
- ISTQB certified and ideally previous experience of TMAP/T-Map/Test Management Approach
- Previous success managing large testing teams to ultimately be responsible for the strategy and implementation of large and complex test projects
- Experience with chain tests
- Previous experience of regulatory controls and compliance
- Experience operating as a key business stakeholder for an international Financial Services organisation
