Test Manager - German Speaking Contract in Zurich

Projektbeschreibung
For our client based here in Zürich we are looking for a Test Manager to start in January.
Duration: 6 months ++
Responsibilities:
- Defining Test strategy, create schedules, reports and estimations
- Test Execution
- Work with the project manager on the overall plan and manage testing schedules
- Co-ordinating with various departments in relation to testing activities
- Manage team compliance with existing measures for reporting testing efforts, as well as co-ordinate all testing tasks within the team
- Leading, guiding and tracking the test team
- Defect Management
- Reporting on the test design and execution status
- UAT co-ordination
Skills & Experience:
- >5 years experience as a Test Management within the financial industry Understanding of STLC and RUP
- Use of Test Management Tools, preferably Quality Center
- Experience deriving high-level business scenarios and system test case generation
- Previous experience in creating Test Plans, as well as involvement in defining the test strategy
- Knowledge of software engineering
- Independent, committed, highly conscientious personality with a focus on quality
- Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and spoken
Qualification & Certificates
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or equivalent
- Certification as SAQ (ISTQB) Certified Tester (FL/AL) or equivalent would be an advantage
