I am currently recruiting a Test Manager for a very special and exciting company. I am more than happy to provide you more information via phone or e-mail due to the confidentiality of the role.
- The position will be in Zurich and permanent
- Salary budget is around 120K

Tasks
*Define and document an appropriate test methodology which balances defined quality standards against the criticality of development schedules and the complexity of system and process changes
*Research and implement test methodologies and tools (including test automation) that enhance software quality according to a proven cost-benefit analysis
*Translate requirements into specific test cases
*Manage and develop a catalogue of test cases
*Develop and maintain a testing network of stakeholders and schedule and organise UAT's
*Ensure that test cases are completed with the appropriate level of detail
*Ensure that all new features are tested prior to release
*Ensure that regression tests are carried out for all features prior to release
*Evaluate test results and enter defects in a tracking system
*Actively manage the defect backlog and organise UAT following bug fixes
*Act as incident manager for production issues
*Liaise with 1st level support to clarify incident details and define workarounds
*Maintain a known defect list and manage its communication to 1st level support
*Work with the application team to define expected resolution time
*Work with the application team to define patch packages and liaise with the wider organisation to plan their release.

Requirements
*A university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g. computer science, mathematics)
*3-5 years' experience in software development of business-critical web applications
*At least 1 year experience in software testing including the creation and maintenance of efficient test procedures
*Strong planning skills, logical thinking and a good eye for detail
*Experience of functional testing and regression testing
*Experience of security, performance or load testing
*Experience in UI test automation
*ISTQB certification (Foundation level or higher)
*Experience in programming and testing .NET-based applications
*Knowledge of Web Services, XML and Client/Server architecture
*Knowledge of Agile methodologies
*Fluent in both written and spoken in English with strong writing and communication skills
*Ability to work efficiently with minimum direct supervision
