Test Manager - Data Centre Relocation - Sydney

Test Manager required by a major client in Sydney to lead a Data Centre Transformation to consolidate 7 data centres into 2. The role will also involve virtualising, re-platforming and consolidating application and server infrastructure where practical.

This is a long term contract and a great challenge that will enhance any CV.

The Test Manager will be responsible for:

- Accountable for all testing activity across the totality of the program.
- Define and refine Test Strategy across the program
- Engage with vendors proactively to communicate and enforce Test Policy and Strategy
- QA vendor test plans for application testing,
- Ensure that the necessary test environments are in place.
- Work with vendors to ensure they are properly resourced to complete all the prescribed test activities in line with program and work package plans

You will need the following experience:

- 3 years experience in the formulation and delivery of test strategies and testing for data centre moves and migrations
- 5 years in a senior testing role
- Proven experience in a lead role of managing end to end testing across multiple vendors in large (>$30m) programs
- Project Management experience on a large scale program spanning multiple years

Experience of delivering testing in a data centre move is essential.
