TEST MANAGER - BELGIUM
A leading IT services company is looking for an experienced TEST MANAGER to work with a leading financial institution in Belgium.
The following is the job specification and responsibilities for the TEST MANAGER:

Overall coordination of the test activities of IT projects, strategic programmes, and application releases
- Maintaining a good relationship with the different stakeholders (Business and IT)
-
Defining the consolidated testing strategy and the detailed test plan for the testing of new releases and deliverables;
-
Defining and checking acceptance criteria;
-
Managing the verification and validation processes;
-
Ensuring the consistency and quality of the solution;
-
Defining technical frameworks and ensuring test environment readiness;
-
Participating in test data preparation;
-
Giving a go/no-go recommendation in the final test report;
-
Ensuring that the test activities comply with organisation norms;
-
Participating to method improvement initiatives;
-
In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (eg HP ALM, QTP etc);
-
Experience working in agile and scrum methodology
Good knowledge of banking environment and specifically the Billing systems landscape

Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset;
PERSONNEL SKILLS:
- A born organizer and possess the necessary diplomatic talents;
- Knowledgeable and experienced in project planning and testing;
- Able to manage relationships with internal and external providers;
- Showing team leadership;
- Approaching problems in a creative and solution-oriented way;
- Able to work autonomously and output driven.
