Leading Utilities Organisation based on the Eastern seaboard of Australia requires a Test Manager to further develop the automation test strategy and environment based on a 6 months + project.

As a Test Manager you would be responsible for the company's Quality Assurance function including all aspects of automation, delivery, defect management and stakeholder/vendor management. 

ON A DAILY BASIS YOU WOULD BE INVOLVED TO:

- Manage the testing capacity to support the planned programme of work.
- Ensure promotion of and compliance with the company's test methodology across the organisation.  
- Develop the automation test strategy
- Consult with projects to support Quality Assurance from project inception through to production release.  
- Provides mentoring and development to the internal testing team.  
- Identify relevant, cost-effective innovations and enhancements to the company's test methodology that will deliver enhanced support for the Business.  

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, INDIVIDUALS WILL HAVE:

- A University Degree in Information Systems or similar
- Prior experience and demonstrated success in Test Manager role
- Experience in structured test methodologies
- Significant automation testing experience with exposure to tolls such as QTP (Quick Test Pro) and QC (Quality Centre)
- Knowledge of industry quality assurance and testing standards
- Extensive experience in vendor management 
- Energy/Utilities experience will be highly regarded
- Providing estimates for resource utilisation
- Management and delivery of successful projects
- Coaching, appraising and mentoring staff
