TEST/QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
MISSION DESCRIPTION:
My client, a global logistics company based in Brussels are looking for a Test/Quality Control manager for its I-Series Software Solutions department.
As the Test/Quality Control manager you will be integrated in the current development & support team who develops and maintains in-house solutions for the international transportation and customs declaration business requirements.
The Test/Quality control manager will co-ordinate all activities related to control quality of software solutions, in particular to review software quality requirements for individual projects, ensuring those quality requirements are understood and implemented.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Review software quality requirements for individual projects, ensuring they are understood and implemented.
- Manage the quality of software solutions built to ensure they meet the requirements specified by business.
- Coordinate & manage the execution of the test cycle(s), including the test planning, production of test cases and test documentation.
- Coordinate and control the day to day operations of the resources allocated to quality control, monitoring and reporting progress
SKILLS:
- At least 5 years of experience with software development quality control & testing
- Experience with coordinating & managing the entire test cycle, including test case building, test Coordination and documenting
- Experience with AS400/IBM i-Series platform & applications, or similar
- Ability to work both independently & in team
- Ability to coordinate people and teams in a multi-tasking environment
- Ability to work under stress and to strict project deadlines
- Good presentation, planning and communication skills
- Good knowledge of English (verbal & written) is essential
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in logistics or the air cargo business in general or the express courier business specifically is an asset
- Local (central Belgium) residence is strongly preferred
- Familiar with PC windows MS Office
