Test Manager/+7 Months/Amsterdam

TESTMANAGER/+7 MONTHS/AMSTERDAM

We are urgently looking for a Test Manager for one of our clients in Amsterdam for an initial period of +7 months.

As a Test Manager your main responsibilities will be:

- The Test Advisor will contribute to the delivery of products in support of the new Test Methodology including implementation of the concepts through:
- Project support
- Presentations
- Workshops
- Coaching
- Research Test Approach trends related to new technologies and methodologies
- Collaborate with staff to populate the Test Portal and other educational platforms
- Provide brief overview of trends developments regarding test approaches to PL

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

- ISTQB Advanced or equivalent
- Agile (hands on experience is must have)
- Risks Requirement Based Testing (hands on experience is must have)
- Context Driven Test Approach
- Service Oriented Architecture (hands on experience is must have)
- Exploratory Testing (hands on experience is must have)
- General Test Management experience > 5 years
- Test Management experience in large business critical programs
- Test Automation knowledge and ability to conduct feasibility study is an advantage
- University graduate level with a degree or further studies in Business, IT or a related subject
- At least 5-7 years experience in an test management capacity
- Experience in the banking and or financial services sectors
- Project management experience
- Experience working in a multi-vendor IT testing environment
- Experience in communicating test requirements to vendors
- Experience leading and working with individuals and teams from diverse cultures
- Experience in working with internal and external subcontractors
- Experience with Test tooling
- Understanding of Bank's business strategy and strategic issues
- Understanding of how to create win-win situations in a multi-vendor environment
- Deep practical understanding of test management tools, standards, and processes
- Broad understanding of the banking sector and current trends
- Report, inform and advise IT Solutions project managers about all test activities within (cross) domain projects
- Supervise vendors regarding test activities within (cross) domain projects
- Inform and advise about progress of all test activities cross domain projects.
