Test Manager - 3 Months

For one of our Key Clients we are currently looking for a Test Manager to join a temporary assignment in Leiden. Please be aware that independent contractors are not allowed for this position, payroll only!

The Client's division where this position is vacant is responsible for the development and implementation of color software tools for the performance coatings business area (colour visualization, colour matching, colour quality, etc). Do you have the IT skills to translate requirements and scope of a project into a test-plan with test-cases? Can you also translate the test-plan in test-activities that you run yourself with others to make sure that the software has good quality? You might be the right person to pick up this interesting Test Manager position.

Job description:

- Prepare test strategy and plan
- Provide an accurate view of end-to-end system performance to identify and fix any issues before go-live
- Design and write functional test cases
- Manage and run required tests
- Evaluate test results
- Automate test cases as part of continuously deployment
- Measure and monitor quality of delivered software
- Experience with setting up and improving a continuous integration test environment
- Facilitate in knowledge / best practise sharing
- Coaching others in test activities

Soft skills:

- Minimum HBO working level
- You like to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Team Player (teams are in The Netherlands and India)
- Education in Physics and/or Chemistry is an advantage
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Location: Leiden (surroundings)
- Start: beginning of October
- Duration: 3 months with possible extension
- Independent contractors are not allowed for this position, payroll only
