Test Manager

My Client is looking for a hands on Test Manager for their offices in Paris . Coming from a banking/finance background is a must.

START DATE - ASAP

DURATION - 6 MONTHS

RATE - £500 - £550

LOCATION - PARIS

KEY COMPETENCIES:

- Strong Financial background in Banking in Front Office.
- Strong Business Analysis expertise
- Proven experience in a SIT/FAT (Technology test activities) and UAT (Business test execution) for both manual and automated test scripts.
- Previous experience in defect recording and defect resolution.
- Previous experience in the use of Quality Centre for test script execution and defect management (and MS Excel as a backup defect tracking and resolution tool).
- Exposure to all stages of an application development process, from specification and design, development and testing through to implementation.
- Experience in structuring and delivering test around system configuration change would be a distinct advantage.

COMMUNICATION

- Provide clear, concise and accurate verbal reports to the Test Manager (and Phase Leads/Project Managers); briefing the Programme Manager and other key stakeholders in writing and verbally will also be a key function of the role.

RISK MANAGEMENT

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Group Standards Manual and all relevant Functional Instruction Manuals and Business Instruction Manuals, as appropriate.
- Minimise operational, reputational and financial risk, as appropriate.
