TEST MANAGER

Randstad Professionals Zurich is actively looking for a Quality Manager/Tester to join our banking client in Zurich.

This person will support our client in the field of Mobile Platform Experience (Tablets)

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

-facilitate and lead functional team efforts to improve client experience by optimizing the accuracy of work.
-Implement tools and systems to maintain and measure quality.
-Manage test process to include mentoring, training, results tracking and continuous improvement.
-Have overall responsibility over Quality Assurance within specific projects.
-Deliver excellence, reports progress and enhances collaboration within Project Management, Requirement Engineering and Development teams.

Test Manager Role:

-Plans, controls and coordinates the entire test process within his area of responsibility.
-Defines the test strategy in line with our client's Test Standard, ensures its implementation and evaluates the test results in order to give a final go/no-go recommendation.
-Manages the Regression Test suite and facilitates its Automation
-Organizes and mentors multi-supplier test teams (internal and external, on- and offshore) and represents these as the single point of contact for the client.
-Responsible for Defect Tracking and the creation of Test Reports on progress, Defects, Risks, Issues and Mitigations according to the client's guidelines.
-Is responsible for solicitation, verification, validation, quality control, correction and timely and on-budget delivery of all test work-products
-Supports Production Rollout and Post-Rollout activities

Specific mandatory requirements:

-Proven record as Test Manager (at least 5 years) and Test in general (at least 7 years)
-Banking or Financial Industry experience
-Strong Analytical, Social and Stakeholder Management skills
-Excellent organizational skills of planning, coordinating and integration of parallel Software releases
-Fluent English
-Exposure to multicultural and outsourced environment with various service providers
-Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
-Strong Communication and Presentation skills
-Strong leadership skills (will be coordinating a team of 11 testers)
-Strong command of Quality Center

SPECIFIC OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

-Mobile technologies testing experience (tablets and smart phones)
-Familiar with Agile methodologies
-German language skills
