TEST MANAGER
Dublin, 6 month contract
JOB DESCRIPTION
Take complete ownership of software testing for EMEA wide initiatives to including BAU, production support and ongoing projects. Responsibilities will include planning, executing and managing testing and also managing distributed Test Managers and Test Engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and manage the testing activities of multiple instances or releases throughout its software development life cycle covering Functional, Non Functional & Regression Testing across System and System Integration Test level.
Ensure the testing of each instance/cluster or project or release meets the strategic business requirements, is completed on time, within budget, and with a high degree of quality.
Oversee, manage the designing and maintenance of test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, test data, test labs and test sets using various tools such as Quality Center, Excel, Word, etc
Ensure performance/stress/volume testing of non-functional requirements is conducted and the outcome acted upon.
REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years Test Management experience ideally within financial services
12+ years of QA experience, with at least 5 years working in an onshore/offshore model and managing major program/multiple projects.
Experience with iterative development/testing practices such as AGILE, RUP or TEST DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT.
Expert skills in using Quality Center. Exposure to test automation and performance tools, like QTP, LOADRUNNER and PERFORMANCE CENTER.
Experience with Flexcube testing would be a distinct advantage, but not essential
PMP and ISTQB/QAI certification would be highly considered
