For our customer Telenor Norway we are looking for two TEST MANAGERS for long assignments.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Scope of work for LTE roll out phase 3:
Three formal Telenor projects are included:
- Upgrade of UDC (User Data Convergence) and IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), migration of UDC subscriptions.
- Upgrade of CS Core, IMS, UDC, PS Core and PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function).
- VoLTE (Voice Over LTE).
LTE phase 3 now enters execution phase for (1), while (2) and (3) will be analyzed during second half of 2013. Initial requirement covers (1), option covers (2) and (3).
The LTE phase 3 project requests two Test Managers for the following sub projects:
- IMS (SW and HW) Upgrade, including new staging platform
- UDC (SW and HW) and CS Core (SW) Upgrade
Acceptance and regression of value chain, stability/performance leading up to recommendation to production launch or to start migration.
Responsibilities include test strategy, planning, specification, execution, management of test team, test beds, issue handling and reporting towards the vendor. Tight coordination will be needed with other subprojects, resources, key players in line organization, vendors and Release Manager. Test Manager will also need to cooperate with LTE phase 3 PMO for risk assessments, progression tracking and line organization acceptance.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Test management experiences and technical qualification
- Experiences with Mobile systems (UDC, CS Core and IMS - ERICSSON)
- Knowledge about Telenor Mobile value chain (UDC, CS Core) and/or Fixed Value chain (IMS)
- Team management
- Prior Telenor experience
- Hands on test experience
Candidates with prior Telenor Experience, preferably with insight in one or more of the platforms in scope and mobile technology in general, is preferred.
Start: 12. August 2013.
Duration: End date is 27. June 2014, with an optional extension until 30. September 2015
Location: Oslo
Language: Candidates with Norwegian language is preferred, but English language is also acceptable
