Test Manager

A leading Global Banking Group has retained Huxley Associates to source an experienced Test Manager to participate in a greenfield Finance Transformation Programme. This is an urgent 6 month contract position paying up to £600 per day. The Bank is currently incorporating the Implementation of a new General Ledger and a new Financial Data Store holding data at transaction level for Statutory, Regulatory and Management Reporting. The Test Manager will provide direction of testing activities to meet the overall goal of improved quality and service in the live environment. Major Challenges of this project will include: * Integration of the various data source systems * Working efficiently with the number of source systems and different product sets involved in the programme * Ensuring data quality * Trade booking issues * Understanding the current accounting processing flows in place at the Bank The successful Test Manager should be comfortable dealing with the above challenges efficiently, and should have the following broad experience: * Broad knowledge across one or more Global Markets products from a trade attribute and life-cycle event perspective * Experience of working on financial control projects, i.e. Sub-ledgers/General Ledgers, Accounting Rules set-up * Must have experience in the financial services sector (ideally investment banking) carrying out a test manager role * Previous experience of implementing a complex financial system * Strong Interpersonal skills * Experience of using a test tool such as Quality Centre If you are interested in being considered for this contract position, please respond ASAP.
