Test Management Specialist (m/f)

For our client, a leading European commercial bank in Frankfurt, we are currently hiring a Test Management Specialist (m/f).

Location: Frankfurt

Duration 12 months with an option to extend for the same duration

Contract: Temporary Contract

Responsibilities:

- focus on the testing aspects of the different projects using the Business Intelligence services and in particular ODB
- major role in the testing to be prepared as part of the Business Intelligence service initial releases
- developing and documenting the test scenarios, cases and test scripts for different projects using the Business Intelligence services (in cooperation with business area experts and the projects business analysts)
- defining the technical tests to be run as part of the release management process (in cooperation with the relevant project technical experts and with IT operations experts)
- responsible for the coordination of the testing activities with the business areas, the monitoring of testing progress and the reporting of defects
- nvolved in packaging of the developments for the implementation of software deliveries from diverse external providers into pre-production and production (in cooperation with system integration experts)
- nvolved in the production of user documentation and will contribute to producing technical documents for the transfer of responsibility to the operational teams

Requirements:

- Masters degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
- Proven competencies in testing methodology as well as planning estimation, quality assurance and risk analysis
- Proven Experience in testing in a BI environment, preferably with Informatica Power Center (as ETL component), Oracle as a database system and SAP Business Objects as a reporting tool)
- Proven working knowledge with the following systems: JIRA (Issues management) and HP ALM (requirements and tests management)
- good command of English with proven drafting ability
- Working knowledge of MS Office (in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
