Test Lead - SAP Focussed

TEST LEAD WITH SAP EXPERIENCE WANTED FOR A BRAND NEW PROJECT.

The IT Projects team are now looking for a Test Lead to work on a new and exciting project. In this role you will be working with the broader project team to deliver the testing component of various project initiatives. You will lead and manage a team of test analysts in delivering all test related activities during SDLC of projects.

Must have strong Test Leadership experience with a focus on SAP testing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop the overall testing strategy and test plans to assist in effective project planning whilst managing potential conflicting priorities.
- Write and execute test plan, test cases and other test documentations as well as reviewing test documentations produced by the team.
- Ensuring testing activities are adequately resourced and executed to agreed plans and in accordance with established policies, processes and procedures.
- Software/application/product quality is of highest standard as a result of strong quality assurance processes.
- Regular reporting on testing progress and results.
- Escalate issues in timely manner.
- Contributing to an effective, efficient and cohesive defect management/resolution process.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience as a test lead.
- IT Degree qualified or in similar discipline.
- EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF SOFTWARE TESTING DURING SDLC IN SAP AND SIEBEL.
- Have experience in using HP QUALITY CENTRE and automated testing.
- Added advantage if you have experience in Automation testing using SAP.
- Previous experience in establishing the testing capability for the team.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Be passionate about delivering software product of highest quality possible.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Have the capability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and implementing improvements to Testing and QA process, methods, tools, and standards.
