Test Lead (M17)

This leading and innovative organisation has an exciting contract opportunity for an experienced Test Lead with solid Oracle BI background to join their team in Melbourne. 

You will have proven ability in  end-to-end testing, including development of project documentation, test strategies, plans, risk assessments and project management.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Develop individual performance and development plans that contribute to the overall strategic direction of Testing
- Develop strategies and test plans to meet application testing requirements and manage the delivery of a test project phase, in coordination with business and other teams.
- Identify and report on technical issues and collaborate on their resolution.
- Liaise with internal and external IT professionals
- Plan and design strategies to effectively and accurately test the technical aspects of integration services components, products and releases.
- Apply the relevant methodologies in all test management activities
- Select the appropriate resources to achieve quality business/service delivery outcomes and performance objectives, tracking the progress of testing against planned schedule.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST HAVE:

- End to end Oracle BI, strong reporting including dashboard
- Datawarehouse, System Integration Testing, MQC, Automation tools
- Defect management and Performance Testing
- Demonstrated experience in project management skills including test project planning, analysis, problem solving, escalation, and reporting
- Proven ability to direct and lead test teams through projects
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical advice and solutions and mentor teams, including the ability to negotiate and mediate as required
- Solid experience in producing technical documentation
- Strong experience in a leadership role
