Test Lead in Berlin Needed (f/m)

For our client, we are looking for Test Lead (f/m) on a freelance basis for Berlin

Project Start: ASAP
Project duration: 8 Months

You should be an experienced Tester with development background and also enthusiastic to learn other testing frameworks and technologies including performance testing. You will have the opportunity to learn the full AWS development suite, e.g. elastic search, Jbpm, working in agile projects.
You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic development team, which is developing and supporting applications in Java, AWS, Dynamo DB, Mongo DB, using the latest technologies and methodologies.
Some travel may be required during the first months for training.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of testing (planning, preparation and execution) of systems and processes in accordance with the solution and / or technical, functional, non-functional or business requirements of any project assigned, to achieve successful deliveries of project / test items whilst working with the product owner to improve code quality
* Provide guidance and support to the end-users test management for the planning and execution of user acceptance tests
* Develop test cases and test scenarios for automated and manual testing
* Working on our products backend - to test new features and enhance the existing ones
* Use your development skills to improve efficiency, scalability, stability, and maintainability of the systems and their subsystems
* Contribute to the system design as well as testing effort estimation and planning to strive to maintain a system without bugs
* Reviewing test cases and scenarios to ensure a smooth and high quality testing process
* Collaborate with different stakeholders on issues of design, development, and testing

Your Skills:
* Youve worked in a related field for at least 5-10 years, you have acquired extensive experience in testing and supporting large- scale applications
* You are an experienced Tester and capable of quickly learning and working in new testing techniques
* Any technical decisions you take are characterized by your business and quality awareness
* Motivated, team-spirited and open-minded, you constantly grow with your tasks
* You like developing yourself by learning new things and taking on challenges
* Both working in a team and independently is something that you are comfortable with
* Working in English in both written and verbal communication is no problem for you

Mandatory Technologies:
* Junit, Selenium, Java, SonarQube, JMeter, Maven (various frameworks), Spring, Jenkins, Git, AWS (various services)

Your Nice-To-Haves:
* Experience working with Jbpm, AngularJS, Php,
* knowledge in different testing techniques.

Languages:

- Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
- German language is nice to have
