Test Lead - For xRM Project

* Lead, Produce and Design test strategies and test plans for our xRM project
* To oversee a small team of test resources
* To conduct testing, interpret results, log defects discovered, and provide progress reporting
* Ensure timely resolution of defects discovered
* To be accountable for the quality of software passed into UAT and into Production

Accountabilities and Activities for Test Lead

* To be accountable for the quality of software passed into UAT and into Production
* Liaise with the project team to understand the work that requires testing
* Learn the application and business logic for the all areas that require testing
* To develop and implement metrics which will enable the quality of development and testing to be assessed
* Create an overall test strategy for the xRM Project
* Assist BA' s, PM's, Developers in ensuring defined requirements are verifiable and risks are identified
* Design and produce test plans and test scripts covering all stages of testing including system test, integration test, non-functional testing, UAT, and regression
* Identify and source / create test data and ensure environments are populated with test data as required
* Ensure the test resource and plans are in place to meet project objectives
* Ensure all test related activities and deliverables are produced to a high quality and on time
* Liaise with Social Care Information Centre as required in reference to test deliverables and the test process to ensure the Common Assurance Process is executed on time
* At any stage of development demonstrate applications to user groups
* Conduct the testing and interpret results, including logging and tracking of defects found
* Production of progress reports and closure rates
* Assist in UAT phases: review plans, scripts, provide support during UAT
* Assist implementation phases
* Help the planning, the Operational Acceptance Test and give support during the implementation
* Improve the test process to improve the bug incident and closure rates
* Build and maintain a testing suite of regression tests

Technical Experience Required - Testing Experience

* IT industry experience - 6 years
* Senior Level Test Specialist / Test Manager Experience - 5 years
* Test Specialist on large systems integration project s -5 years
* Test Specialist on contact centre projects [3 years minimum]
* Any experience of testing against the following products advantageous:
* Microsoft Dynamics 2011
* Mirth Connect
* HSS CRIS
* Great Plains
* Applications from the NHS

Business Experience

* Give advice and guidance to project managers on test resource issues.
* Resolve any problem associated with managing and allocating test resource.
* Understand the intricacies of software testing and spot a project in trouble, before it is noticed by a failure to deliver to a date.
* Manage and prioritise multiple activities and schedule work accordingly
