Our client is looking for an End to End Test Lead to join them on a 5 month contract in South Dublin, with a view for extension.
JOB SUMMARY:
This role will carry responsibility for leading teams of testers from multiple vendors and functional areas to ensure the timely preparation and successful execution of all test cycles across several concurrent projects and will manage cross vendor dependencies and schedule alignment to ensure agreed quality and delivery outcomes are met.
DUTIES:
- Responsibility for development of test strategy and approach across multiple projects being delivered in a release or standalone.
- Responsibility for identifying which projects require cross-vendor testing and which projects in a release require cross-project testing.
- Providing input into overall release planning as part of annual planning.
- Creating and maintaining overall test plan (end to end view), to include cycles, scenarios, and number of passes required to ensure end to end test coverage requirements are met.
- Verifying vendor test plans in terms of coverage, dependencies and schedule alignment.
- Liaising with other testing stakeholders to agree their participation in end to end testing.
- Identifying testing resource requirements from all impacted projects and stakeholders (Vendors/Operations/Business/etc.).
- Developing testing resourcing plan, which clarifies vendor, 3rd party, contractor and the allocation of our client's resources.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 8 years' experience in a variety of IT/telecommunications environment, including software development, infrastructure, business processes and methodologies.
- Significant experience in leading systems integration test planning and execution across multiple vendors.
- Proven skills in test strategy definition, test planning, and test data management.
- Expert knowledge of test processes and methodologies.
- Thorough and practical understanding of testing phases/types of testing/software development life cycle.
- Experience of vendor management throughout the testing life cycle.
- Knowledge and experience of Automated Test Tools.
- Web testing experience.
- Performance and non-functional testing experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent team building, management, and motivation skills.
- Ability to manage workshops to facilitate development of test strategy and planning.
- Strong focus on delivery with excellent stakeholder management skills.
