Test Lead

I have an excellent opportunity for an IT Test Lead to join the business and work on a mix of Project and Support work on a contract basis.

Leading 2 test analysts, you will be required to provide technical guidance, outline work and priorities without supervision from the Test Manager.

The project involves Testing on a large Point of Sale/EFTPOS IT project and will be hands on Test Lead role where you will be expected to perform the testing function in addition to leading the 2 Test Analysts.

Tasks Include:

- Developing test cases using the system requirements
- Hands on execution of integration and regression testing
- Test report preparation
- Configuration of test equipment and ensuring the testing environment is fully operational
- Investigation of problems within the test environment and appropriate escalation of issues
- Act as the super user for HP QC and JIRA
- Support of POS/EFTPOS Systems

Experience required:

- Strong experience as an IT Test Lead in a similar industry
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Point of Sale technologies
- Experience on how EFT and POS systems are integrated
- Extensive working experience with HP Quality Centre and JIRA
- Proven experience executing EMV Test Cases
- Experience within a Retail IT sector
- Strong MS Office skills

This is potentially a long term contract with a well known organisation with an immediate start.
