Test Lead

My client a leading Australian Government Department is looking for a Test Lead to join their team on a 6 month contract basis with extension options.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

- Guide all Test Execution or Test Preparation activities;
- Adhere to and enforce the standards and guidelines for test execution or Test Preparation;
- Coordinate their tasks with other leads in all sites and project;
- Allocation of work to tester's for execution and test preparation;
- Responsible for assisting testers with issues and incidents that are experienced within the testing environments;
- Manage defects and attend Triage;
- Liaise with and support the test managers and other test leads;
- Work collaboratively, share knowledge and skills, and communicate openly;
- Allocation of design documents to tester's for script preparation; and
- Responsible for reviewing test scripts and assigning scripts to senior testers for review.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE

The Specified Personnel must be able to demonstrate:

- Experience as a Test Lead
- Experience using testing tools (experience in HP ALM & Sprinter highly desirable)
- Ability to analyse test requirements from design specifications
- Ability to identify data requirements - create, manipulate and maintain test data
- Experience executing testing and reporting on testing undertaken
