For one of our client we are recruiting a Test Framework Developer (Java Engineer).
The Testing Framework Developer is an experienced developer who is responsible for development of a testing framework. As part of the testing team, the Testing Framework Developer is involved in the development and testing of the testing framework.
Skills
- 4+ years of developing using Java
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience of test automation and test tools
- Financial market domain knowhow and experience
- Needs to contribute to all aspects of software development including: design, coding, testing, documentation, and debugging
- Relational DB knowledge and data model understanding
Sprachen
English or German fluent
Tasks:
- Develops and maintains the testing framework and provides all the relevant documentation (the primary tasks circa 80%)
- Must have experience with Real Time asynchronous message interfaces.
- Financial trading domain and interfaces experience and know-how.
- Supports testers in implementation and execution of automated test cases
- Interacts with the component teams, integration test and system test teams during the relevant project phases
- Organization & Planning: Organizes the packaging and deployment of deliveries for the testing framework, including liaison with support functions and other test automation components as necessary
- Ensures adherence to the development and test automation processes and guidelines for the project
- Reports on the status of development of the testing framework in conjunction with the Component Workstream Leader, keeps the Component Test Plan up-to-date by collecting planning and status information from Component team members
- Ensures that the testing framework development is synchronised in the overall project process Soft Skills: Strong team working, communication and problem solving skills Capable of working independently in high-performance team. Must be a self-starter and quick to learn.
- Working with the development team as a whole to ensure the look and feel of the design is correctly developed and verifies that the result matches the client's specifications and expectations
