Test Engineer - with HP ALM and UI Testing Experience - English Speaki

We are looking for a test engineer to join our regulatory book of work including PRIIPs and part of Mifid II programs. The successful candidate will report to the PRIIPs and Mifid Test Program manager.
This is a high-profile role working in a fast moving environment and demands a proven test engineer with strong testing experience in functional testing.
Technical skills we are looking for:
- Understanding of SDLC, QA and Defect Lifecycle
- KNOWLEDGE OF API AND INTERFACE TESTING
- Must have experience working with Waterfall/Iterative/Agile (Scrum) development teams
- Strong experience in using HP ALM(QUALITY CENTER) or equivalent tools
- Strong experience of testing core systems and Legacy business critical applications
Testing skills needed:
- Write and maintain the test scripts to validate software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results
- Ensure test coverage for requirements by writing various test cases
- Prepare and setup test data for various test cases
- Able to engage proactively with the QA Manager regarding defect statuses, updates etc
- Provide feedback and support to the development team to resolve the issues and improve the deliverables
- Create, execute and document tests (technical, functional and non-functional)
- Ensure adherence to the CS testing standards, processes and methodologies to ensure efforts are delivered on time
- Knowledge in MS SQL or Oracle would be a plus, there is some basic SQL to do
Required Non-Technical Skills
- Communicate progress, risks and issues related to testing effectively
- Should have strong ability to build rapport with BA teams, business and other test leads from various streams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- English is a must, German would be a strong bonus
- Experience working with global organization, including understanding various regulations/front to back programs would be a plus
