Test Engineer/Test Technician - Contract - Isle of Wight

Roc Searches client based on the Isle of Wight are currently recruiting for an Electronic Test Technician for a 3-6 month contract. The role will involve testing and fault finding all units made by Production or returned by clients customers, to specification set by client's electronic engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

*Tests units from production to ensure they meet specification.
*Fault finds units that have failed to component level.
*Maintains records for tracking units tested.
*Assists Production staff to help repair units which have failed test.
*Sends units to QA.
*Arranges for outside testing as required.
*Progress chases units through Production to meet required delivery dates.
*Liaises with design of product and test specification changes.
*Gives technical support to junior team members.
Ensures test equipment is within calibration.

Essential: Electronics C&G Parts 1/2 No. 224 or ONC Electronic Engineering

Desirable: Computer literate
