Test Engineer - Technician Job

Yoh has a full time, contract opportunity for a TEST ENGINEER TECHNICIAN in Rochester, NY.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support field qualification testing with Client's radios in the local Rochester area and at the Seneca Army Depot on as needed basis.
- Support test station and fixture builds for MCMP EVM, PVM and Production.
- Fabricate test fixtures from documentation including cables, cable harnesses, printed circuit boards and enclosures.
- Provide assistance with modification of mechanical assemblies.
- Assist Engineers with the design, fabrication, assembly and debug of test stations and test fixtures.
- Execute tests, collect data and provide assistance with modification or improvement.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Successful candidates should have AS diploma in an Engineering discipline and four (4) years of relevant professional experience; or commensurate education and experience.
- Must be able to read and understand wiring and circuit board schematics.
- Must possess soldering, cable fabrication and fixture build skills.
