Test Engineer - Senior

Test Engineer - Senior wanted for a Trade Reporting project for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR TASKS:

- Analysis of functional specifications, design test cases and test scenarios
- Functional Testing of the system based on the requirements specification documents
- Execution test cases and documentation of the results
- Supporting the Test Manager in test planning and test evaluation activities for these specific tests
- Evaluation of the requirements specifications (user cases, business rules, regulatory or other functional requirements) for the test case design
- Documentation of the design, the test definition and execution for testing the functional requirements
- Defects managemetn, reporting, tracking and coordinating activities for fixing and retesting

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Degree in IT or a similar field and/or degree in testing methods/Quality Management (eg ISTQB)
- At least 7 years in similar roles as test engineer
- Experience in the trading area especially the OTC and Derivative business
- Good knowledge of Windows 7, Word, Outlook and Excel spreadsheet functions
- Very good knowledge of testing methods to validate non-functional requirements
- Solid experience with Quality Center, JIRA and SVN
- Language: fluent English both written and spoken, German is an advantage
