Exciting company in the financial services sector are currently recruiting for a Test Engineer to be responsible for Integration Testing and Operational Acceptance Testing.

Accountabilities:

Creation of test plans and capture of test execution data requirements.
Implementation of test plans through test case design and responsible for manual and automated test scripting and execution.
Liaising with relevant parties in the resolution of defects ,defect validation and closure.
Developing automation frameworks/test suites and co-ordinating the integration with Continuous Delivery (CD) / Behaviour driven development (BDD) processes.
Providing assistance to internal and external operational stakeholders during UAT/ Customer Show and Tell sessions
Monitor adherence to test policy and standards; feedback improvement opportunities to Test Manager where appropriate.
Proactive management of issues related to quality and test progress; timely escalation to the Test Manager where appropriate.
Liaison with Test Manager/Development leads/architects, to plan and verify test environment provisioning and releases/drops.

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Integration Testing with some experience on Operational Acceptance Testing.
Significant experience in using test automation tools (including Selenium Web driver, SoapUI Pro, JBehave).
Significant experience in testing complex systems utilising web-services (SOAP)
Experience in testing native / web applications on iOS and Android.
Proactive and problem-solving approach
ISEB Foundation certified
A degree in a relevant subject is preferred
Essential skills:
Agile methods (SCRUM / BDD) Level 2 Automation tools: Selenium / SoapUI / Jbehave Level 4
SQL /TOAD Level 2 Web Services ( SOAPUI Pro) Level 4
Desirable skills:
Test automation frameworks Level 4 Jira Level 2
Mobile application testing Level 2 CI / Jenkins / Maven Level 2
