Test Engineer/QA Analyst

We are currently seeking Test Engineer/QA Analyst for a 3 month contract position in Duluth, GA. Quality Analyst is responsible for verifying the quality of software and hardware products. Will design, develop and execute test plans and scripts for all components of a product to ensure the delivery of quality software product that meet or exceed customer specifications

Skills:
Formal education level: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Specific skills & proficiency level: Working knowledge of MS Office S/W suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Basic networking setup/troubleshooting skills Basic knowledge of SQL and/or XML highly desired Able to work both independently or as part of a team Able to follow guidelines/instructions, solid written and verbal communication skills Able to multi-task Fast learner and innovative with the ability to work in fast-paced environment Experience: Testing experience in a Windows environment RETAIL EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:
Responsible for development, execution, tracking and results reporting of manual test cases for assigned projects/features using VSTS 2010/TFS Test Manager Ability to setup required H/W for test environments including Windows PC, POS terminals, printers, fuel pumps/controllers, pin pads, networking (LAN, WAN, connections to credit networks) Business savvy to follow general instructions and achieve desired results Review use case documentation, participate in the test installation cycle and provide input into work plans for assigned projects Determine the time estimates and work plan necessary to achieve the goals for the entire test effort for assigned projects/features Communicate and escalate information about timetables and milestones that may not be met Complete status reports and participate in departmental and project team meetings Responsible for development of automated tests for future regression of assigned projects/features Other job related duties as assigned
