Test Engineer - Nokia Cloud Packet Core (CPC)/(VNFs) SGSN, MME, SGW, PG

JOB Description:
Work as part of the team, for testing of Nokia Cloud Packet Core(CPC), focusing on following functional elements (VNFs): SGSN, GGSN, MME, SGW, PGW, ePDG, TWAG, SecGW, SSG.
Particularly:
Execute Testing in manual or automated mode for Cloud Packet Core in E2E Mobile Core network environment for all types of testing, including Acceptance Testing, Load and Stress testing, etc.
Execute test scenarios in accordance with the provided test procedure.
Adjust test procedure if necessary.
Take and analyze traces to make troubleshooting and report to Test Manager.
Properly document and report above activities.
Mandatory competencies:
Team Player
Ability to work under pressure, including night hours and overtimes.
Good communication and negotiation skills in English.
Self-learner
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in End2end 3GPP testing for 3G, 4G with knowledge of s1-mme, s1-u, s5, gx, etc.
Knowledge and experience in using various test and measurement equipment, eg Spirent Landslide, IXIA.
Basic understanding of telecommunication technologies and protocols with focus on IP and Packet Core areas.
Basic understanding of virtualization principles and cloud concept:
Basic virtualization terms/requirements - threads, cores, hypervisor types, virtualization types, VMs, SR-IOV etc.
VMware, Openstack components
NFV MANO reference architecture (Openstack, VMWare, Nokia CBIS)
Basic knowledge on.nix based systems
Basic practical knowledge at:
IPv4, IPv6 addressing
DNS systems and protocols
IP routing (Static, OSPF, ISIS, LDP)
MPLS basics
NAT/NAPT
IPSEC
DPI
Languages: English (Upper Intermediate level)
Desirable Requirements:
Education: University degree in telecommunication or information technology
Experience: 2 years on engineering position in one or more following areas:
Packet Core - 2/3/4/5G
Mobile networks - 2G/3G/4G, IP
Networking - IP, IP/MPLS
Telco Cloud
Python coding
API knowledge
Practical (testing, troubleshooting) knowledge of the mentioned above technologies
Valid certificate from list (strongly desirable):
ALU SRC (NRS2, MRP, 3RP, SRA)
CISCO professional (CCDA, CCNP, CCIE in any field)
Juniper SP-track (JNCIS-SP, JNCIP-SP, JNCIE-SP)
Experience with Nokia products - 9471MME/SGSN, FLEXI NS MME/SGSN, 7750SGW/PGW/GGSN, FLEXI NG SGW/PGW/GGSN, VMG/CMG, VMM/CMM
