Test Engineer- Mobile Applications

JOB TITLE: TEST ENGINEER - MOBILE APPLICATIONS
JOB LOCATION: PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC
TYPE: CONTRACT

THE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Responsible for test case and test data preparation
Responsible for execution of various test types as per test strategy by executing test scripts and record results.
Responsible for logging the defects in defect management tool and track them to closure
Coordinate with Development team for bug resolution and bug closure
Responsible for Test automation of applicable and feasible test scenarios/test cases
Send constant status updates to the leadership
Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause Identification and resolution
Test mobile applications across multiple handsets.
Analyze the functional and non-functional requirements (NFR) and designs Test Scenarios and Test cases
Strong in writing and executing GUI, Functional, Regression, Security, Performance related test cases in Mobility.
Actively investigate interesting new tools and techniques.
Document results of testing and report any defects in a clear and comprehensive manner.
Monitor and update bug reports as needed including bug closure report
Updates Knowledge Management systems with artefacts.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Strong Experience in Testing Mobile apps on various operating systems iOS and Android Devices
Experience in Mobile Application testing includes UI, Functional/Non-functional, Regression tests, Device compatibility tests, Performance tests, Security interoperability testing, Usability testing, language localization tests, Automated tests and others.
Test script writing, Using defect management tools like Jira
Should have working experience in test management tools
Knowledge on Testing the app on Emulators and cloud
Good Analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
Experience in PHARMA domain will be a plus.
Exposure on Performance or Security or Device Testing
Experience with automated testing tools Perfecto, Jmeter, QTP, Device Anywhere, See Test or any Mobile Automation Tool (Good to have)
Knowledge in Any of the Scripting language (Shell/Perl..) (Good to Have)
