Test Engineer Job

There is a TEST ENGINEER needed for a 12 MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Erie, PA.

Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Test Engineering
- Linux
- Wireshark
- TCP/IP protocol
- EMI/EMC

What You'll Be Doing:
- Create test plans and execute environmental qualification tests.
- Examples of some of these tests are: Vibration, Thermal cycling, temperature extremes, EMI/EMC.
- Should be able to evaluate test results quickly.

What You'll Need To Bring To The Table:
- Individual should have experience and knowledge of the tools used and should have the experience to determine when to start and stop test.
- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Experience with Linux operating system
- Familiar with Linux Shell Scripting.
- Experience with test automation and EQT test procedures.
- Knowledge of networking and TCP/IP protocol.
- Familiar with different protocols (ie RS232/422, I2C)
- Experience in using monitoring tools, protocol analyzer, scopes, wire shark, etc.

Bonus Points! Preferred Qualifications:
- Locomotive or Automotive Industry experience
