Test Engineer Job

TEST ENGINEER needed for a ONE (1) YEAR CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Milwaukee, WI.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Specify hardware, system design & test code development using National Instruments Labview & TestStand to convert old, obsolete test systems to supportable test platform.
- Ensure accuracy of test system design documentation - assembly dwgs, BOM, schematics, etc. Update or create documents as needed.
- Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification. Responsible for ensuring rigor in development of equipment qualification plans per company specified format, execution, final analysis and acceptance.
- Duplicate/build redundant test fixture, as needed.
- Build new cables, interfaces, connectors to update & maintain test systems prior to transfer.
- Confirm accuracy of existing test procedures against actual practice. Stretch (desired but not required) to create test procedures in Spanish based on existing test procedures.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- B.S. Degree in Test, Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering or related technical degree and three (3) years of experience or Associates Degree and five (5) years of experience or High School diploma with 7 years of experience in production, engineering or troubleshooting
- Working experience in National Instruments software (TestStand, Labview, LabWindows), C++, and/or other programming languages and other tools utilized in test equipment development.
- Functional test design and development experience or equivalent - three (3) plus years
- Experienced in test system development life cycle, qualification of equipment, and test procedures.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and planning skills
- Demonstrated strong technical documentation skills.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) English

- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver systems that are modular, scalable, and customizable
- Experience working with Visio/mechanical engineering tools as well as schematic capture.
- High degree of electro-mechanical aptitude.
- Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (ie medical, aviation)
- Energized, passionate, change agent with personal commitment to deliver quality projects
- Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
- 7+ years industrial experience in Engineering
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) Spanish
- Ability to work independently
